Interviews with Prof. Noam Chomsky

This podcast is a compilation of two interviews we conducted with Prof. Noam Chomsky. The most recent interview (the first 14 minutes of the podcast) was conducted on December 3, 2008 and the last ~14 minutes was conducted in April of 2008.

In these interviews, Professor Chomsky talks about problems he sees with our democracy, his fears of where mainstream rhetoric on a Palestinian-Israeli two-state proposal has gone, global capital markets and some features of economic growth.

Interview with Prof. Russell Roberts

In this interview Prof. Roberts talks about, among other things, the ideas in his brand new book The Price of Everything: A Parable of Prosperity and Possibility. It is not mentioned in the podcast that the book is written as a fictional story to make the economic lessons easier to digest. In the interview, Prof. Roberts talks about some of the inherent problems of central planning by governments and how he would like to see markets studied more.
